Bailey Scheel

Bailey is the 16 year old daughter of Farren Allgaier and Rick Scheel, and your Miss Navarre Beach 2024. She is a junior, rides a horse as one of her schools mascots, and also participates in various clubs. Bailey is in the National Honors Society, Music Honors, Madrigals select choir, Link Crew leadership, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Hope Squad. Hope Squad is also the platform that she has chosen to represent throughout her reign. Outside of school Bailey is very active in her youth group and sings in her church’s contemporary services. In the future she plans on going to college at FSU to study psychology, and continuing the growth of her platform. She loves getting to represent her area with the beautiful white sand beaches and emerald waters. 

Baileys platform will benefit local Hope Squads through Bring Hope Now. Hope Squad is a peer to peer suicide prevention program in schools across the nation. As a member of the Hope Squad at her high school she gets to see the differences that Hope Squad makes in peoples lives first hand. Her goal is to raise awareness and reduce the stigma that surrounds suicide and mental health. This cause means a lot to Bailey because mental health is a major issue in our youth, with teen and school age suicide rates growing by 76% over the last five years. Ellie James Pfeiler

Ellie is the 6 year old daughter of Joe and Heidi Pfeiler.  She was born in Pensacola and currently lives in Navarre Beach. She was accepted into Gulf Pointe Latin School this year, where she currently attends kindergarten. At school, she participates in dance and intramural sports. Outside of school, she enjoys gymnastics, swim, hip hop, and she is a cheerleader on the Navarre Youth Sports Association Mighty Mites team.  Ellie is the youngest of 3, her brother is 20 and sister is 18.  She loves animals and has 3 dogs and 2 cats, whom she adores.  Ellie is thrilled that she has recently been crowned Little Miss Navarre Beach for the 2024 reign. Ellie loves art, riding her bike, boating, and traveling as much as possible.  She enjoys collecting seashells and making resin art with them. Since moving to the beach, Ellie found great interest in protecting the sea turtles. In her free time, she gets out and walks the beach to fill holes and picks up trash that has been left behind.  She plans to volunteer her time to protecting sea turtles, volunteering with different organizations in our area, and raising awareness to beach safety. 

Ellie is thrilled to make a positive impact this year with her platform.  Ellie has learned that during the current nesting season, 5 of the 8 sea turtle nests on Navarre Beach did not make it, some were due to washouts but some were disoriented hatchlings.  This information in addition to Ellie’s love for our sea turtles led her to her platform of raising awareness by educating locals and tourist on nesting season and ways to protect our seas turtles.  She will be working with local organizations and collecting their wishlists to make sure next nesting season is much more successful.  She will also be visiting local establishments to help educate guests on how to protect our sea turtles and their nests.  She will also volunteer her time as much as possible filling holes on the beach, picking up trash left behind and helping out at local organizations.  In addition to protecting the sea turtles, Ellie hopes to also bring awareness to beach safety.  After speaking to many tourists, she learned that they do not know nor understand our flag system, which puts them in a vulnerable situation in areas that lifeguards are not present to educate them.  She will be volunteering time to educate locals and tourists on our flag system and rip currents to prevent drownings and save lives.  https://navarrebeachseaturtles.org
