Keely Hawkins
Keely is eighteen years and the daughter of Angie Hawkins. She is completing real estate courses to obtain her state license to pursue a real estate career. Keely has devoted two years to working at The Grand Marlin on beautiful Pensacola Beach. She likes to devote her time to reading the Bible and serving God. Keely is looking forward to representing Pensacola Beach and serving her community.
Keely created, Olive Branch for her platform as her way to communicate the importance in spreading the gospel. She is very passionate about bringing the light of God to others and extending a hand to every person she can reach. She believes there is so much peace found in the word of God and it is truly life-changing. She is ready to serve as a light to my community so that those around her can feel encouraged and supported in living for God. Keely has many projects planned to accomplish through her platform and is so excited to share them with my community.
Claire Angeline Clay
Claire is eleven years old and a 5th grade Honor Roll student at Pensacola Beach Elementary School. Before moving to Pensacola Beach, she lived in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and attended an International American Academy where she learned Spanish. She was recently elected President of the Junior International Optimist Club and previously earned 3rd place at the Optimist Club Regional Oratorical Competition. Claire is proud to be an Alter Server at her church, Our Lady of the Assumption, in Pensacola Beach. She loves cooking and has played tennis since age three. Claire recently made the Island Cats competition cheer team with Cheer Athletics and is looking forward to traveling to competitions with her team this year. Claire’s favorite thing about living on Pensacola Beach is walking, riding her bike or kayaking to her favorite restaurants on the island.
Claire volunteers for local organizations advocating for Sea Turtles, especially those who have chosen to nest on our beautiful Emerald Coast and has started a campaign to help reduce holes left on our beaches by donating shovels with the message “Fill a Hole, Save a Sea Turtle” to our local beach borrow bins. She has donated nearly 200 since April 2022.
